Body: Movement has always been at the center of Gaby Palmisano's life. Growing in Miami Shores with a ballerina moother and a yoga-teaching sister, she was raised in a home where the body was seen as both instrument and art. She spent years in modern dance and circus training, later becoming a collegiate athelete where long hours of practice eventually led to burnout and injury. That's when she discovered Pilates — not just as a rehabilitation, but as a completely new way of moving. Within weeks, her strength and endurance improved, and she realized just how transformative mindful, intentional movement could be.

After working in events and PR for global wellness brands, Gaby saw firsthand how powerful a supportive studio community could be. At just 25, she poured all those experiences into creating palmi + sano — a space that blends artistry, athleticism, and connection under one (heated) roof.

The name itself reflects that vision. "Palmi" (Italian for "hands") celebrates the healing power of movement and touch, while "Sano" (meaning "health or "wholesome") honors the role of community. The Wynwood studio will offer Pilates, sculpt, and yoga classes led by an experienced team of instructors, each bringing their own unique energy and style.

But palmi + sano is designed to be more than a workout. It's a creative wellness hub. Picture rotating gallery walls filled with local art, a cozy lounge for tea and conversation after class, and a calendar that includes artist residencies, pottery, and painting sessions, sound-bath ceremonies, red-light flows, herbal tastings, and more. Every month will bring new ways to recharge the body, mind, and soul.

For Gaby, opening the flagship in Miami means everything. Having grown up in the tight-knit Miami Shores community, she knows firsthand the value of belonging and connection. Bringing the studio to Wynwood feels like both a return to her roots and a step into the future, in a neighborhood known for its creativity and vibrancy. And this is just the beginning with Miami as the foundation. She envisions expanding coast to coast with future studios inspired by the energy of the chakras, always staying true to her mission of movement, creativity, and community.
